베트남 출신의 안무가이자 포르노 연구자인 앵 보의 <넌-바이너리 푸씨>는 팝 엔터테인먼트와 정치적 선전 도구를 결합시켜 관객에게 몰입형 경험을 선사하고 또 이상적으로는 집단적 변화와 혁명을 이끌어내고자 하는 미니 콘서트이다. EP 뮤직비디오 앨범은 총 네 곡으로 구성되어 있으며 이번 그린룸 홈페이지에는 Glassrevolt를 대표로 선보이고 향후 뉴욕 혹은 서울에서 공연을 가질 예정이다.
A Vietnamese choreographer and theorist Anh Vo, centering around the provocative yet elusive "non-binary pussy," is presenting the project of a revolutionary concert that fuses pop entertainment and political propaganda to produce an immersive experience and, ideally, a collective transformation. Originally comprised of four songs/music videos, Glassrevolt will be introduced here in below and others will be presented/performed off-site either in Seoul or New York in the near future. 앵 보는 베트남 출신의 안무가, 댄서, 이론가 그리고 행동가이다. 그(들)은 포르노그라피, 퀴어 관계, 그리고 존재와 형태, 정체성과 추상적 관념, 역사와 식민지적 현실에 관한 춤을 만들고 텍스트를 생산한다. 현재 뉴욕 브루클린에 기반을 두고 있는 보는 브라운 대학교(학부)와 뉴욕 대학교(석사)에서 퍼포먼스 이론을 공부하였다. 브라운 대학과 프로덕션 워크샵에서 각각 69 Views From The Bottom (2017)과 Interbeing (2016) 작품을 선 보였으며 뉴욕 라이브 아츠, 무브먼트 리서치, 유니버시티 세틀먼트, 체즈 부쉬위크, 홀린스 대학교, 그린룸(서울)에서 단독 프로덕션을 진행했다. 작가로서 그(들)는 무브먼트 리서치 퍼포먼스 저널에 고정적으로 기고하며 아노멀리서도 종종 발표한다. 또한 컬트플라스틱(https://cultplastic.com)이라는 개인 블로그를 운영한다.
Anh Vo is a Vietnamese choreographer, dancer, theorist, and activist. They create dances and produce texts about pornography and queer relations, about being and form, about identity and abstraction, about history and its colonial reality. Currently based in Brooklyn, they earn their degrees in Performance Studies from Brown University (BA) and New York University (MA). Their two evening-length productions, 69 Views From The Bottom (2017) and Interbeing (2016), have been presented by Brown University and Production Workshop. Since 2018, they have been focusing on making solo works, which are shown at New York Live Arts, MR @ Judson, University Settlement, Chez Bushwick, Hollins University, and greenroom (South Korea). As a writer, they are a contributing editor at Movement Research Performance Journal, a frequent contributor to Anomaly, and a blogger at Cultplastic(https://cultplastic.com/).
